An Au Pair (male or female) provides live-in care to the children of a welcoming host family overseas as part of a cultural exchange. You&rsquo;ll receive a weekly stipend, your own room in the family&rsquo;s home, and generally two to three meals a day. You may even get the chance to join the family on ski and summer vacations! Whilst they have similar duties, Au Pairs and nannies are not the same. Au Pairs provide live-in care for the children of a host family abroad, and are considered to be a temporary family member. They are included in family activities, even when they aren&rsquo;t working. A nanny is a professional caretaker employed by a family on a contract basis. They work set hours and are paid a wage. Au Pairs will typically live with their host family for up to 1-2 years, whereas a nanny can be employed for as little or as long as the family needs.

When you touch down in Florence&rsquo;s Airport your private transfer will be waiting for you. You&rsquo;ll be taken to your twin-share room in a Tuscan Villa in the town of Borgo San Lorenzo &ndash; your home while you take your course.&nbsp;
Your classes are small (6-12 students) and a driver will take you to the training school every day. Please note, this course is intensive - you will be expected to put in 8-10 hours of class work and studying per day during the week and expected to do homework and studying on the weekends for the 4 weeks of your course. There is a lot to cover to get you ready to be a teacher in a month, so come prepared to put in the hours.
During your course you&rsquo;ll have the chance to experience some of the cultural and orientation activities we have planned for you. These activities include a wine tasting, a guided tour of downtown Florence, and Italian lessons.&nbsp;
Our team has lots of connections with language institutes, so they are your best asset to land a teaching position in Italy (typically earning about &euro;15/hour) &ndash; as long as you graduated from your TEFL.

To qualify for this trip you must have your high school certificate or diploma. You&rsquo;ll need a laptop to help you in the classroom.&nbsp;
You must be between the ages of 19 and 60, have no criminal background, be from an eligible country, and be a fluent English speaker.

Your course and training will take place in Borgo San Lorenzo, Tuscany, Italy. Your teaching placement could be at a language institute anywhere across Italy.&nbsp;

During your TEFL course, you&rsquo;ll stay in a twin-share room in a Tuscan Villa in the town of Borgo San Lorenzo &ndash; your home for the next 4 weeks.&nbsp;

When you arrive at Florence Airport, your private transfer will take you to your twin-share room in a Tuscan Villa in the town of Bongo San Lorenzo, Italy. This will be your home while you do your course.&nbsp;
