Requirements
To qualify for this trip you must meet the visa requirements, and have 6 months of paid work experience by time of arrival. You may also be required to be vaccinated against Covid-19 to enter this destination at the time of your travel.

Itinerary Teaser
Day 1
Once you’ve touched down at Brisbane or Gold Coast Airport, your own private driver will be waiting for you outside. They’ll take you into Surfers Paradise to your initial accommodation at a top-rated hostel where we’ll cover the first 4 nights for you. Relax, make some new friends and settle in!
Day 2
Head to our Gold Coast office for your orientation and set up your bank account and Tax File Number so you’re all ready to start working. Our team will also give you an Aussie SIM card loaded with 20GB of data, unlimited Australian calls & texts and international calling credit, so you can easily keep in touch with loved ones back home! Get the chance to meet the crew and plenty of other Global Travellers when you drop into the office.
Day 3
We’ll give you passes to a local Australian wildlife sanctuary to meet koalas, kangaroos and almost every other Australian animal there is, a choice of day trips to either infamous Byron Bay where you can see its sights and catch some rays or the spectacular Gold Coast Hinterland to get a nature fix as well as a ticket to join the nightclub party tour to finish off this epic experience day! If you're heading off to your new job right away, these inclusions remain valid for any future time you'd prefer to use them instead.
Day 4
Most people have their interview before they’ve even left home. If you haven’t received yours within 4 days of arriving, we’ll extend your accommodation for free until we do. That’s how confident we are. And, if you’re not successful in your first interview, we’ll keep trying too!
Day 5+
After you’ve had your 4 nights stay on the Gold Coast, it’s usually time to move closer to where your new job is based. If permanent accommodation isn’t provided with your job opportunity, our team can help you find the perfect home.
6 months+
After successfully completing your first 6 months as an Australian local, you might want to experience a whole new location, job or just take off and go travelling! Get in touch with your Trip Coordinator when you’re ready to experience paradise on the Great Barrier Reef. Head up to stunning Airlie Beach for two nights, with an included day’s outing on a sail boat to see the world-famous Whitsundays up close. We’ve got your back when you decide it’s time for something new.
Ongoing
Our team will always keep in touch with you throughout your stay. If at any point during your trip you need advice or support, our Australian team will be on hand to answer all your questions.
